Tai Chi at Lake Elizabeth?

"Tai Chi in the Park" is coming to Fremont!? Organized by Li''s Wushu Academy, this free event will feature Grandmaster Li De Yin, world famous Tai Chi leader and coach visiting from China to present workshops in the Bay Area, as well as performances by local Tai Chi groups.? Come to Lake Elizabeth in Fremont''''s Central Park on Saturday, April 21, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for an exceptional opportunity to learn from a grandmaster and to see a demonstration.

Grandmaster Li De Yin is an expert at Shao-Lin-Quan, Xing-Yi-Quan, Tai-Ji-Quan, and Wu-Dang Sword.? After earning his BS degree in 1961, he dedicated himself to the study of Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) and his teaching career. ?He is a Professor at Beijing Renmin University, a member of the Chinese Wushu Science Committee, Vice President of the Beijing Wushu Association, and President of the Beijing College Wushu Association. ?

Grandmaster Li De Yin has trained the world's top professionals, such as Gao Jiamin, Chen Sitan and Huo Dongli, who have won gold in the All-China National Tournaments and Asian Games. ?Grandmaster Li has been awarded numerous honorary titles. ?Many professional Tai Chi practitioners, even grand champions from China and all over the world, have come to Beijing to be trained by him. ?Former Japanese Prime Minister Mitsubishi and high ranking government officers from other countries have made special trips to Beijing to learn from him.?

Grandmaster Li is author of a number of books in Chinese, Japanese, and English.? His instructional videos and DVDs on Taijiquan and Taijijian (sword) have become the best selling training references in China, as well as in the world.
